The inter-school music Pays d'Apt
is installed in the premises of the old hospital since 1986 Apt. Created as an association in the 60s, it becomes municipal 1971et develops a project of quality music education to open more. Transferred to the community of common 1st September 2008, the School of Music hosts today more than 400 students in all 21 disciplines taught instrumental.
The team that oversees these activities consists of 17 certified teachers or state certified, two secretaries and a director.
Missions
> Artistic education specialty music (instrumental learning, singing, musical training, musical practice group).
> Arts education in collaboration with the Education and academic institutions.
> Coaching and development of artistic practices amateurs.
The various strands developed pedagogical
> Teaching instrumental and vocal with 21 disciplines.
> The opening within specific departments, the current music, Baroque music and music of the Balkans.
> The musical awakening and initiation for children 5 to 8 years.
> Creating music with commissioned works, residential and receptions for artists.
> The artists with different curricula offered and go all audiences.

> Participation in local cultural life.
